Morton Hospital is pleased to announce two new “Hot Job” career opportunities: Infection Prevention & Control Manager and Director of Perioperative Services.
The Infection Prevention & Control Manager will be responsible for the daily management of infection prevention and control activities, including researching, coordinating, implementing and follow-up activities related to the hospital-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program. The employee conducts continuous monitoring of both community- and hospital-associated infections, and collaborates with the hospital’s medical staff and other disciplines in the creation and implementation of infection prevention and control policies and procedures. The individual is also responsible for regulatory reporting to external agencies.
The Director of Perioperative Services will have responsibility, authority and accountability for patient care administration and clinical practice over the Perioperative area. This includes a 6-suite Operating Room, a Day Surgery Unit, Central Sterile Processing, Pre-Admission Testing, Dialysis and Lithotripsy.
