Historical Importance
Taunton is a very old town in America. It was the first town to be founded by a woman. There are other firsts that Taunton claims to have including the first to fly the Union Flags after the Revolutionary War. Taunton is also home to one of the Worlds most respected silver refineries. The Women’s Imaging Center is open six days a week. Mammography appointments are available Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you have discovered a lump in your breast, you will be seen as quickly as possible.
