Morton Hospital, A Steward Family Hospital
Morton Hospital a 154-bed hospital primarily concerned with maintaining and restoring the health of people who live or work in the central part of Southeastern Massachusetts. In October 2011, Morton Hospital was acquired by Steward Health Care System, a fully integrated community care organization. Headquartered in Boston, Steward has approximately 14,000 employees serving more than one million patients annually in 85 communities in Massachusetts.

The hospital recruits and supports employees, physicians, and volunteers to assist in achieving the Mission of the Hospital, and who meet the Hospital's standards of addressing the health and related social welfare needs of the patients.

The Hospital utilizes the technological sophistication of those that are appropriate to a community-oriented hospital of its size and affordable within its Primary Target Area. Access to complex secondary and tertiary care services is arranged through affiliations with other providers to assure convenient access to a full range of services at a reasonable cost.

The Women’s Imaging Center is open six days a week. Mammography appointments are available Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you have discovered a lump in your breast, you will be seen as quickly as possible.
