Our Mission
Morton Hospital's Rebound Sports Medicine Program brings the expertise of orthopedic surgeons, certified athletic trainers and licensed physical therapists to the specialized management of school and recreational athletes throughout the greater Taunton area.
Rehabilitation of sports injuries varies widely, depending on the athlete and the nature of the injury. Morton's Rebound Sports Medicine Program offers the latest high-tech rehabilitation equipment, as well as traditional therapeutic modalities such as heat, ultrasound, hydrotherapy and exercise carried out under the direction of licensed physical therapists with special training in Sports Medicine. The goal of sports medicine is to get athletes healthy and back to their sport as quickly as possible.

Rebound is the largest community hospital-based sports medicine program in New England with 14 Certified, Licensed Athletic Trainers and a Board Certified, Sports Clinical Specialist.
The Licensed, Certified Athletic Trainers provide emergency medical care and preventive treatments, free of charge, for hundreds of high school athletes in 15 local cities and towns who would otherwise go without these services. In addition to working with the athletes of twelve area high schools, Rebound has contracted with Massasoit Community College to provide Athletic Training Services for their varsity athletes. Rebound also acts as a clinical education site for student Athletic Trainers enrolled at Bridgewater State College.

The Women’s Imaging Center is open six days a week. Mammography appointments are available Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you have discovered a lump in your breast, you will be seen as quickly as possible.
