Information for Visitors

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., serving hot meals, salad bar, sandwiches, snacks and beverages.

Gifts for Patients

We understand that when you are visiting a patient, you may wish to bring them a gift to brighten their day, or to celebrate a birth. Please check with the nurse in charge of the unit before bringing any gifts to the patient, as there are some restrictions in certain areas.

The hospital policy prohibits helium balloons from entering patient floors.

Visitor Parking

Free parking is available for patients and visitors in the parking lot adjacent to the main lobby. Please park only in designated areas on the hospital grounds. Handicapped parking is available in various locations on the hospital campus.

Our Smoking Policy

Morton Hospital is committed to maintaining an environment that minimizes health risks and supports health and wellness. In keeping with this commitment, Morton Hospital’s smoke- and tobacco-free policy eliminates all smoking and the use of all tobacco products inside and outside buildings on its main campus and all satellite locations.

This policy applies to all persons, including employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, volunteers, students, vendors and other guests.

Smoking Cessation Resources:
Morton Hospital offers a free American Cancer Society Freshstart Smoking Cessation Program 2-4 times a year.  To learn about upcoming dates, please call 508-828-7015.

This site, sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, provides smoking cessation tools and information on tobacco use and secondhand smoke, as well as inspirational stories from ex-smokers who successfully quit smoking.
