DoN Funding

At Morton Hospital, we reach beyond hospital walls, into the surrounding communities, to address the most prevalent health- and wellness-related needs of our community members. Guided by a careful analysis of community needs, Morton Hospital's Community Benefits Program aims to help those most vulnerable to make life-changing improvements in health and address social and economic factors that impact overall well-being.

As part of the determination of needs (DoN) process, steered by the MA DPH and Morton Hospital’s commitment to investing in the community, this RFP will provide funding to groups in our community who are providing quantifiable, evidence-based and sustainable initiatives to our community with a focus on ensuring equitable care is accessible to all, particularly those of diverse backgrounds.

Applications for our 2022 DoN Funding RFP are now closed.

We will notify the applicants in the near future. Thank you for your interest in the SEMC DoN funding.

Funding scope: The proposed intervention to be funded by the available DoN funds calls upon grantees to implement a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)* program, designed as a course to help laypeople know how to assist individuals with mental health problems or those who are at risk for problems such as depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
