Morton Hospital and Steward Medical Group have welcomed Anna Maria Moldovan, MD, to the greater Taunton community.

Dr. Moldovan joins the hospital’s growing psychiatry team and will support psychiatric needs of the hospital’s inpatients, as well as see patients in the hospital’s Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic.

Board certified in psychiatry and neurology, Dr. Moldovan earned her medical degree from the Universitatea de Medicinia in Romania, and completed her residency training at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College.

She speaks English, Hungarian and Romanian, and has a special interest in affective mood disorders, personality disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder.
